Josh was left waiting for more than an hour for his bride Amy to arrive on tonight's Married At First Sight UK.
The show experts decided to pair Josh, a 26-year-old insurance salesman from London, with sports journalist Amy, who is eight years his senior.
Things went disastrously wrong for Amy as the wedding day arrived, however, with a water issue at her hotel meaning that Josh had a lengthy wait for her arrival.
When she did finally show up, Josh's initial reaction was somewhat mixed. "She's stunning - brunette, pretty face, curvy," he said. "But I think the idea of getting married and then actually getting married is two different things. This is real now. What the fuck am I doing?!"
Amy expressed some concerns over their age gap, meanwhile, saying: "I would have preferred someone in their 30s because they would have been a bit more serious about settling down. The age gap - I'm not too happy about that. [But] as long as he's mature and got a good head on his shoulders then that's fine."
As the pair got to know each other during their photo shoot and the wedding reception, it became apparent that Amy was heavily into astrology - and she was delighted to discover that her new husband was a Scorpio.
"Amy's obviously quite a spiritual person," Josh confided to the cameras. "I'm not saying I don't agree with it but me generally speaking, I'm quite a simple person. So in the long run it might not work."
Married At First Sight UK continues Monday at 9pm on E4.
