Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings joins thousands of protestors marching in Birmingham against the death of George Floyd.

Aston Villa and England defender Tyrone Mings was one of thousands to march in Birmingham today in protest against the killing of George Floyd.

Protests have sprung up throughout the world following the death of Floyd on May 25, when he became the latest unarmed black man to die at the hands of police in America.

The Black Lives Matter movement has gained a huge swell of support in the wake of the incident, with demonstrations in London and Liverpool among other UK cities already.

An estimated 4,000 people took to the streets to show their solidarity in Birmingham today, and Mings has revealed that he was among them.

Mings was one of the England players targeted by racist abuse during an away game in Bulgaria last year.
