Of all the teams to be fighting for honours in the Premier League at the moment, Manchester City have had the most tumultuous journey.
An inaugural member of the division, City have been relegated twice and it wasn't until their 2008 buyout by the Abu Dhabi United Group that they really became a force to be reckoned with.
City are now heading into their 16th consecutive season in the top flight and are one of only six clubs to have lifted the trophy, doing so in 2012 and 2014.
Now managed by Pep Guardiola and boasting a plethora of world stars, the City of today is a far cry from the club which at one point in the Premier League era even dropped into the third tier of English football.
