Barcelona 'view Jadon Sancho as Neymar alternative'

Barcelona identify Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho as an alternative to Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar, according to a report.

Barcelona have reportedly identified Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho as an alternative to Neymar as a summer move for the Paris Saint-Germain forward has all been ruled out.

The Spanish club's head coach Quique Setien recently suggested that his team would be unable to sign Neymar during this summer's transfer window as PSG want £195m for the Brazil international.

Sancho, meanwhile, is thought to be valued by Dortmund in the region of £100m, amid speculation that the England international will seek pastures new this summer.

Manchester United are believed to be the favourites for the 20-year-old, but according to Sport, Barca have identified the former Manchester City youngster as an alternative to Neymar.

Sancho, who is also believed to be interesting Real Madrid, has scored 17 times and contributed 19 assists in 35 appearances for Lucien Favre's side during the 2019-20 campaign.

The attacker's existing deal at Signal Iduna Park is due to expire in little over two years.
