Team News: Sagna, Giroud start for Arsenal

Bacary Sagna, Olivier Giroud and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain take the places of Carl Jenkinson, Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski in the Arsenal side to face West Bromwich Albion.

Bacary Sagna has shrugged off a foot problem to be named in the Arsenal side to face West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also returns to the starting XI in place of Theo Walcott, who misses out with a calf injury.

Olivier Giroud replaces Lukas Podolski to make it three changes from Arsene Wenger to the team that lost 2-0 to Swansea City last weekend.

Podolski is fit enough to be named as a substitute alongside Tomas Rosicky.

West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke starts with Peter Odemwingie, Zoltan Gera and Shane Long in an attacking lineup.

Boaz Myhill also keeps his place in goal for the Baggies with Ben Foster still on the treatment table.
