Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro has vowed to shoot more often after he scored only his second goal for the club in Saturday's 3-0 win at Fulham.

The 23-year-old Brazilian fired in a spectacular effort from 35 yards at Craven Cottage to give Spurs a third consecutive Premier League victory.

"I have to shoot more, to try more," Sandro told Tottenham's official website. "It was a good goal. I'm happy because it was an important goal.

"It's my first goal of the season but I'm happy because we won. It was a great win."

Spurs return to Europa League action on Thursday when they welcome Panathinaikos to White Hart Lane.
